Workshop capability
Linear cutting for slots, keyways, flat surfaces, and custom profiles.
Why it matters
A shaper fills a gap that other machines do not always cover. For keyways, slots, and flat surfaces on one-off parts, it is often faster and more practical than setting up a milling machine for a single operation.
Typical applications
Workshop workflow
We clamp the part to the shaper table and align the cutting direction with the feature.
The tool reciprocates across the workpiece, removing material in linear passes.
We measure the slot, keyway, or surface against the drawing and adjust passes if needed.
